bamboo network The Bamboo Network for Construction: Aims to integrate skilled immigrants into the Canadian labour market. Assists with credential evaluation, technical upgrade, professional certification and licensing. Provides opportunities for professional training, workplace practice, apprenticeship and full time employment. More

Bamboo network: fast track to employment for skilled immigrants
Bamboo Network An employment support program for immigrants in Professions and Trades. This program offers a two-week Job Search Workshop, one-on-one employment counselling, referrals to mentors in the same profession or trades, case management services, networking sessions, skills and job exchange, and assistance with job apprenticeship placements. More

Settlement Support services
Settlement Services MHHS offers orientation to new immigrants to identify community resources, social services, and information on relevant policies in Canada. We also assist and support immigrants to understand immigration processes and deal with family and cultural adjustment issues. More

Maple Bamboo Initiative - training newcomers in civic involvement
Maple Bamboo Initiative

The Maple Bamboo is a one year pilot project funded by Canadian Heritage Department. Sixty volunteers drawn from seven growing and emerging communities (Filipino, Bangladeshi, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, African and Hispanic communities) will be recruited and trained in civic participation, then immersed in public processes of their choice.
