The Multicultural Helping House Society Bamboo Network invites unemployed or working less than 20 hrs/week immigrant professionals and trades, legally entitled to work in Canada to attend a two-week job search workshop starting February 11 to 22 from 9 am to 12 noon.

Are you a Sri-Lankan? Pakistani? Burmese? Bangla speaking Indian? Bangladeshi? Fijian? or any other South Asian minority community member?

Would you like to volunteer to help your community to settle better in Canada?

The Multicultural Helping House Society is organizing a training program for you.

You will learn:

  • Information about community resources, housing, health and schooling opportunities, sponsoring information and more
  • How to advise newcomers from your community on how to access those services.

Tentative Training Dates (1st Batch): May 13, 19, 20, 26, 27
2nd Batch: June 8,14,15,21,22
Time: 9 am - 12 noon

Transportation, Food and Honorarium will be provided to all participants
